- Instagram’s Hyperlapse Adds Selfielapse Feature: Hyerlapse’s latest update allows users to utilize their device’s front-facing camera to take video of themselves, or selfielapses. Users cannot toggle between front- and rear-facing lens in the middle of shooting a video.
- Facebook Updates Save Feature: Facebook expert Mari Smith, noticed and wrote about a couple of important changes she noticed on Facebook earlier this week. The update allows users to save links in photo posts, save multiple links and tagged Pages in posts, and save links from posts on any Page or personal profile wall.
- Is Ello the next big social network? This week there’s been a lot of talk about a new social network to rival Facebook. Ello has already gained a reputation as the “anti-Facebook” for its promise of delivering an ad-free experience that capitalizes on selling its users data. While criticism against Facebook’s has increased since its initial public offering, the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back is being blamed on Facebook’s latest real name policy.
