SOCIAL MEDIA COACHING
Sacred Land Film Project produces educational media content to foster greater public understanding of indigenous cultures and their sacred spaces. Since 1984, the organization has produced documentaries, photos, educational materials, and more.
The organization’s leadership understood they needed to use social media to share their work with larger audiences and potential funders, however, lacked the knowledge of how these channels worked. Over a period of one month, I worked with Project Director, Christopher (Toby) McLeod, to go over the ins and outs of using Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. I also identified tools the organization could use to optimize the vast library of video and photos for social sharing. The end of our coaching was capped with strategy suggestions for each channel.
