YouTube Releasing New Features and App for Video Creators: YouTube is releasing a range of new features including a Creator Studio App, sound effects, donation functionality, and crowd-sourced subtitling. The Creator Studio App, now available for Android devices and coming to iOS devices, allows for mobile video creation. Sound effects are available within the YouTube’s royalty-free Audio Library. Fundraisers interested in beta testing YouTube’s donation feature can sign up here. YouTube content creators with an international audience will be able to tap into their audience’s collective knowledge for better foreign language subtitling.
Pinterest Provides Pin-related Location Alerts to Android Users: Pinterest just released a new feature especially for Android users. The newly added feature alerts Android users when they are near a location they have pinned.
LinkedIn Job Search App is Now Available on iTunes: LinkedIn’s job search app, which allows users to take their job search mobile, is now available for iPhone users in the iTunes App Store. The app, according to LinkedIn, features “real-time job alert notifications, saved searches, and the ability to apply to jobs with your LinkedIn profile.”
